Stafford's custom manufacturing capabilities include modifications to shaft collars which customers previously made on their own, or completely new designs to customer specifications.
Minor modifications to standard parts may include slots, flats, through-holes, and threaded holes, while complete custom designs could incorporate cams, levers, mounting holes, hinges, and more.
Typically combining multiple functions to eliminate extra parts and improve mechanical efficiency and structural integrity, they can enhance drive system performance and add mounting or system integration capabilities.
Supplied in prototype through production quantities, Stafford custom shaft collars can be machined from alloy steels, stainless alloys, titanium, aluminum with anodizing in bright colors, brass, bronze, Delrin®, nylon, and other materials.
Ranging from 1/8” to 12” I.D. with round, square, and other bore styles, dimensional tolerances of < 0.001” and < 0.001” T.I.R. concentricity can be achieved, depending upon configuration.
Stafford custom shaft collar pricing is quoted within 24 hours and typical delivery is 3-4 weeks, with options for expedited shipment.
